Wild Oats Music proudly welcomes Milan-based producer, musician and DJ Michele Manzo with Echoes In The Dust, a four-track EP that captures the depth, drive and musicality that have become hallmarks of his sound.
A lifelong multi-instrumentalist with roots in jazz, funk and hip-hop, Manzo has steadily carved out his own voice in contemporary electronic music. His catalogue spans soulful LPs, deep house records and collaborations with internationally respected artists, while always maintaining an unmistakably organic approach to production.
His previous work includes the acclaimed album ALL RISE on Darker Than Wax, featuring collaborations with Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins, alongside two standout EPs on Waajeed's Dirt Tech Reck—Around Brasilia and Niños Del Mar. He is also one of the founders of The Mixtapers, whose releases on Jazzanova's Sonar Kollektiv further reflect his deep roots in jazz, soul and forward-thinking electronic music.
The story behind Echoes In The Dust began in 2024 after Michele attended Kyle Hall's DJ set in Pordenone, Italy. Inspired by the music and energy of the night, he later sent Kyle a collection of unreleased tracks. Hall immediately connected with the recordings, weaving them into his DJ sets throughout the following year. Whether played in intimate clubs or larger festival settings, the reaction was consistently immediate—each track proving itself on the dancefloor time and time again.
After a year of road-testing the music and watching crowds respond, the decision to release the project through Wild Oats Music came naturally.
Across its four tracks, Echoes In The Dust is rooted in groove, movement and restraint. Warm analogue textures, rolling percussion and hypnotic rhythms combine to create a record that feels equally at home in deep listening sessions and peak-time dancefloors. Rather than chasing trends, the EP embraces timelessness—music built with patience, character and lasting impact.
Echoes In The Dust is another strong statement from Michele Manzo and a natural addition to the Wild Oats catalogue, continuing the label's commitment to artists whose music speaks through authenticity, craftsmanship and enduring dancefloor appeal.
